I Belong to a Witch — Episode 1: Don’t Let Her In

Thirty Halloweens ago, Darius died in this town and somehow came back. Tonight the paramedic is marking it the quiet way: one cupcake, one candle, and Duke, his loyal old dog, curled at his feet. Then a voice message carries a warning that chills the air: whatever happens, don't let her in. The doorbell rings right on cue.

On the porch waits a red-haired witch in black lace and a pointed hat, a single rose in her hand. Morgana knows his name and teases him like an old flame. Darius laughs, points her toward the party two houses down and locks the door tight. It holds for about a heartbeat. Rose petals swirl up out of his candle flame, and suddenly she is in his kitchen, close enough to touch. He tells her to leave. She only smiles: 'Careful, love… my roses have thorns.' Episode 1 of I Belong to a Witch turns a locked door into pure temptation.
